HEAR FROM OUR CLIENTS
“I want to thank you for all the work you have done with Mason over the past school year. Your efforts have made a tremendous impact on him. We have both seen a difference. He can now easily read things he struggled with before starting with you.
He is also now to a point I don’t have to sit with him to get homework done because he is reading and comprehending on his own.
Just last week the teacher sent home some benchmark testing for reading/vocabulary/comprehension that showed the improvement; same test given once in December (right at the beginning of his sessions) and the other taken just last week.
His score on first test was 8 out of 22 correct. The second was 16 out of 22 (the required number for passing). He was very proud of himself. :). He sees the difference. Your work has been great for him. I am grateful.“

“Many thanks, I received the assessment result you sent. I am glad to see there was a big improvement in his processing speed and working memory. I must say he has improved remarkably in his school work this term.
Kind Regards.“

“My son, Alexander (Alex), who is now 21 years of age, completed a cognitive skills training program with Nne Oramasionwu at Brain Ability Place, formerly known as Mindmaps a few years ago while I and my husband and our four sons were living in Lagos, Nigeria between the years 2011-2017 because of my husband’s employment. Alex attended Children’s International School for a few years and also the American International School in Lagos while we lived there. Alex is high functioning autistic spectrum and had Special Education assistance in the classroom while he attended elementary and middle school in Lagos and also while attending secondary school in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea and Cairns, Australia. Alex also received Special Education assistance while attending secondary school at The Woodlands High School in the northwest Houston, Texas USA area where he graduated in June 2020. Alex then completed a transition year studying Digital Art at NonPareil Institute in Houston, Texas which is a computer school for special needs students.
Presently Alex is in his second year at the University of North Texas (UNT) where he is studying Media Arts in the ELEVAR program which is a four year vocational certification program for special needs students at the university level. Alex is taking university-level classes with accommodations and modifications in Journalism media writing and Theatre voice acting this semester at UNT where he lives in a dorm with other students. Alex also works part time on Wednesday mornings at the UNT Welcome Center where he helps give tours to new students and helps organize information packets for new students. Alex loves to make videos, 3D animation and voice acting and is also involved in creating a student video TV program at the UNT TV station this year. Alex has a Texas driver’s license and has been driving the past couple years.
We believe that the cognitive skills training program that Nne Oramasionwu completed with Alex back when we lived in Lagos has contributed to Alex’s ability to become increasing independent and self-sufficient as he completed elementary, middle and secondary school and also as he makes progress in his university studies and matures into adulthood. Nne is a very patient and capable professional working with students in the cognitive skills training program. We highly recommend Nne Oramasionwu and Brain Ability Place for a cognitive skills training program in Lagos.”
